Meet August E. Perez,MA, LPC
Contemplative Psychotherapist & Buddhist
Psychologist
Life is a journey, and no matter how lonely the path may feel at times, we are effected and defined by the relationships around us. Whether it is relationship with yourself or other, there is always potential for growth and healing.
My trauma-informed and attachment-based therapy is focused on healing what has contributed to much of the trauma we experience in the first place:
relationship.
Using mindfulness-based interventions, I promote healing through using the therapeutic relationship as a way to identify and work with patterns that are no longer serving you and the healthy relationships you are trying to cultivate with yourself, your loved ones, and your community around you.
It's true that trauma can happen in relationship, but I firmly believe that healing can happen too. Join me to see if this is the therapy that could benefit you.
I look forward to connecting.
